Alberobello: e-bike tour and orecchiette class

1.Alberobello: e-bike tour and orecchiette class

★★★★★★★★★★5.0 · 13 reviews · 4 hours · from $55Our pick

Rocco leads a small-group e-bike ride from Alberobello through trulli country, dry stone walls, vineyards, and olive groves. At a family-run mill, Pasquale explains how wheat becomes flour. Then Pasqua teaches you to shape orecchiette, which you cook and eat with wine. Bring your own e-bike or rent one locally.

“Alberobello was a delight and we loved cycling through the glorious Puglian countryside, then meeting a very lovely flour mill owner who took great care to explain the workings of the mill. Making pasta was fun and we felt a sense of achievement when we ate it for lunch! Rocco was a great guide and very knowledgeable about the local area. The bikes were well maintained and smooth - the electric turbo charge very handy on the hills! A fantastic experience!”

Sorrento Coast: E-Bike & Cooking Experience

3.Sorrento Coast: E-Bike & Cooking Experience

★★★★★★★★★★4.5 · 2 reviews · from $225

You’ll pedal 25 km from Sorrento toward Massa Lubrense with guides Pietro and Macarena, passing lemon and olive groves with views of Capri. At Santa Maria Annunziata, chef William hosts a cooking lesson in an old villa, followed by lunch, wine, and limoncello. The group is limited to 10.

“The e-bike ride was fantastic, we absolutely loved it. Pietro and Macarena were fantastic guides and a lot of fun. 100% would ride again. The cooking class was a bit disappointing though, only because it was not as advertised. It was still fun, and chef William and his wife were so lovely and it was a pleasure to be invited into their home (their gardens are so beautiful!) but it was not like what the activity description suggested: "The chef will teach you to cook some of South of Italy typical dishes which will be: bruschetta, gnocchi with tomato sauce, chicken escalope with lemon sauce, rucola salad with vinegar and…”
