Spend about five hours cooking in Carmen’s Syracuse home, beginning with a Sicilian aperitif and ending with a shared lunch. You’ll choose from dishes such as eggplant parmigiana, pasta alla Norma, fish, meat rolls, cannoli, and almond desserts. Carmen explains each step, provides recipes in English, French, or Italian, and returns you to the meeting point afterward.

“What a delight it was to be invited to Carmen’s beautiful home and learn how to cook some authentic Sicilian dishes under her skillful eye. We made three separate vegetable dishes, a spaghetti dish with clams and white wine sauce and finished off with the perfect dessert which was lemon gelo with pistachio brittle on top. What a delicious meal and learning experience it was! This was definitely one of the highlights of our trip to Ortigia.”

“The cooking class with Maria was great. She taught us lots of interesting cooking skills with her friendly and open manner. 👍 Unfortunately, we almost didn't find her house because the agency didn't give us the full address... This definitely needs to be better coordinated. The event itself was great. Thank you very much.”
